Is a flight attendant a well paying job and good for someone who likes to travel?

with 4 comments

Im thinking of jobs to have next summer when im done with high school. Im not going to college, and I really like traveling, so I thought that being a flight attendant would be a good job for me. Does it pay well? If you were/are a flight attendant, what is it like?
I have all the qualifications, so that’s not an issue.

  1. Have you ever worked in hospitality/customer service? If not, then I suggest you start there because they aren’t going to hire someone who lacks social skills.

Also, what "qualifications" is that? You don’t need any to be a flight attendant and on top of that, you are still in school.

The pay is average, nothing special.

The job is much more than just travelling, you need to have excellent communication skills, knowing a second language helps too.
My advice would be to try being a waitress for a while, if you don’t like that, you aren;t going to enjoy being a flight attendant. Same thing except in the air and getting to stay in cities around the world.

  3. Starting salary is low, but you generally get your first raise after 6 months, and regularly after that. Some people love this job, some don’t.

  4. Qualification plays important role when you like to work in a firm or industry so, my dear friend in my view you should concentrate on your studies first if you have to do a better job and want promotions on your duty in future.
