Can you refund an airplane ticket from South African Airways?
I am in a tight situation. I would like to either re-book or refund my airplane ticket from South African airways but I have no idea how or of it is even possible. Please be willing to help me in this question. my schedule is next week and I have no idea even where to start.
Just like any airline, it depends on how restricted the ticket you bought is. If you paid full-fare, you should be able to easily change your flight or possibly get a refund. If you bought a more restricted ticket refunds are probably not allowed but schedule changes are often permitted for a fee. Only your airline can give you a definitive answer, give them a call.

The first step would be to talk with South African Airways or your travel agent and see what their policy is on re booking or refunds. I know that some American airlines charge a hefty cancellation fee but I am not familiar with oversees airlines. Good Luck!

In my information you can refund ticket but each airline have their own refund process. They will charge some money in percentage.
